Our Trip to the Ecotarium

Avery did not have school on Friday, so we thought it would be a good day to visit The Ecotarium. It is a small science museum for kids. They have all sorts of hands-on stuff to do inside. We got to see how a tornado forms and experiment with pendulums. They also have this cool wall with motion sensors on it that makes music as you move around. There is all sorts of animals to look at including cute ferrets, turtles, snakes and so much more. They even had this weird looking turtle that Avery said was 3 animals in 1 because it was a turtle that was in the water but it could stretch its neck super long, like a giraffe, to get its head out of the water. And then, it had this tiny little snout for a nose, like a pig. It was kind of strange looking. Outside of the museum there was a whole bubble area that was lots of fun. And we went on a train ride and they even had a playground that we played at and had a picnic lunch. It was a great day!
Posing in front of a huge bear
Making some different shaped bubbles
Look at how high Sierra got the bubbles around her!
Avery had lots of fun experimenting with every possible speed
Typical Saylor Girls had to climb up the rocks instead of taking the sidewalk, What Fun!
