Some Fun Days

Here are some pictures of all of the things we have been doing over the past few weeks.
Avery at her "Welcome home, Flat Stanley" Party posing with her project. Her Stanley went to visit Aunt Jacey & Uncle Paul in Michigan & had a great time!

And studying for her last spelling test!
Over Father's Day weekend, Avery was in a softball tournament in Charlton, MA. She had so much fun! Her team didn't go very far in the tournament but considering most of their players were younger than the other teams by a few years and they wound up short players, they did great!

In between games, Coach Cory & Coach Mike took the girls to a pizza place for lunch. One of the girls found some gumball machines and one of them had fake mustaches in it, which they all had to have. It's hard to see, but here's all the girls with their fake mustaches on. It was too funny!

After softball, we went home to celebrate Father's Day with some presents, banana cake & a little pool time!

Then it was off to the T-ball field for Sierra's last game. They ended the season with a little coach pitch.

And some pizza. Sierra & C.J. really enjoyed it!

During the last week of school, Avery had another family lunch day. Sierra and I went in and had lunch with Avery and her class and then spent some time at recess playing on the playground.

We also went to The Little League end of the season pizza party. The girls got to hang out with their teams one last time, compete in some drills, have some pizza, and get some cool trophies!

And, of course, Avery had her last day of school.

Sierra's 5th Birthday

It has become customary in our house that the girls' birthdays turn into a week long celebration. That definitely held true for Sierra's 5th birthday! We celebrated on her birthday with Nana & Grandpa who had gotten into town the night before. We took Sierra to lunch at Applebee's (her choice) and then we went to play miniature golf. It was so fun and you'll never guess who won!!

Later that night we went to Mexicali for dinner. it is the best place to celebrate birthdays and they have the best grilled cheese!

Then, more people came to join the festivities. Gramma and Grampa and Uncle Joey, Aunt Jenna, Alex & Stacy all came to visit for the party! On Saturday, all of Sierra's friends came over for a pool party. It was so much fun!

Sierra's Preschool Graduation Program

On Friday, Sierra had her very last day of preschool. Her class put on a great program of lots of fun songs with a  farm theme, since that is what they have focused on for the last month. It was a great show! She also got her last Certificate of Completion. Then it was time for the party! It was a great morning! I can't believe after all of these years we are all done at Mad Brook Academy and now it's time to get Sierra ready for Kindergarten!

Another fun week!

Here are some pictures of my active, little girls from the past week. Last Monday, Avery was in a Memorial Day Parade with her Girl Scout Troop. The parade was short and sweet but fun, nonetheless!

On Thursday, Avery had her first school field trip to Davis Farmland. Sierra and I decided to "tag-along" for fun. We tried to keep our distance so Avery could be with her class, but we did run into them a few times.

This weekend, we had a little heat wave, so we were finally able to get in lots and lots of pool time!!

A Busy May

My, how time flies when you're busy! I can't believe May is almost over! We have been so busy with softball, t-ball, end of the school year activities, a visit with Gramma and Grampa, and getting our new pool put in :) !! Here are some pictures of all of our activities.

Cory came home from work one day and asked the girls if they wanted to go swimming. It was not a very nice day out and the heater has not been hooked up yet, but all they heard was swimming and they ran to put their bathing suits on. These pictures show exactly how far each of them got into the pool.
