Now that we have our computer and internet back up and running, I can finally get caught up with all of our pictures. Here are some from Avery's last day of pre-school. As emotional as she is, Avery was not upset, in the least, to be done with pre-school! She knew that it meant she was moving on to kindergarten and she could not be more excited about it!!!!

We Are Big Kids Now!
I am very proud to announce that Sierra is officially potty trained!! We have been working on it for the last several weeeks, but last week it just clicked. She is now wearing her Dora and Ariel underwear all day and she goes all by herself whenever she needs to. She still wears a Pull-Up at night, although I'm not sure why because she is dry every morning. She even got up the other morning and went potty all by herself and then went right back to bed. So I am sure we will be ditching the Pull-ups any day now! Yeah Sierra!!
Avery also had a good weekend last week. At soccer, she scored seven goals! She was so excited. I did think to try to get her to pass the ball to her teammates but they just kind of stood there, so I just let it go. We did explain the term "Ball Hog" afterwards.
Then, on Sunday, she tried riding her bike without the training wheels! She did great for her first time! Her balance needs a little work. And we have a little bit of a focus problem. She was more interested in watching butterflies and bugs fly around, than paying attention to what she was doing. But she had fun and she didn't fall, so I think we might be trying again soon.
Avery's Kindergarten Carnival
Last weekend, Avery had a Carnival at her new Kindergarten. They have it every year to welcome the incoming class and say good-bye to kids going off to First grade. It was lots of fun! There was a Bounce House and tons of games and activities where the girls won so mant great prizes. Avery got her face painted and both her and Sierra got balloon animals from a silly clown. And we all had some yummy popcorn, hot dogs, and sno-cones. We had a great time!

Sierra's First Dentist Appointment
Last week, the girls both had dentist appointments and for Sierra it was the first. She did so great! After watching her big sister show her the ropes, she hopped right up into the chair and was an excellent patient. We were very excited that there were no tears and, even better, no cavities! Avery was also very excited about her appointment because she got x-rays taken for the first time and the hygienist said that she has two slightly loose teeth. The tooth fairy better start saving up!Sunday, May 15, 2011
Cape Cod
We had a few fun filled days at The Cape Codder Resort with Gramma, Grampa, Aunt Jacey, and Uncle Paul. First of all, we stayed in a beautiful three bedroom suite with a living room, full kitchen, and dining room. It was so nice! And the indoor water area had a big wave pool with a fountain-like thing, two water slides and a huge hot tub. The girls had so much fun. Avery went down the water slides a hundred times and Sierra loved playing in the waves. We also had a chance to go down to the beach to hunt for seashells. It was not much of a hunt, though, there were just mounds of seashells everywhere. We didn't stay long though because it was so windy we couldn't even hear each other talking!
And getting dried off
After a few days at the resort, everyone came back to our house for a night to relax and celebrate Mother's Day. Then, on Saturday all of the grown-ups went into Boston for Tamala and Ben's Wedding!

A Weekend in NJ
The first weekend in May we took a trip down to New Jersey for cousin Travis' First Communion. First, we were able to spend all of Saturday and Sunday morning with Alex and Stacy. Saturday morning Mommy, Daddy, and Sierra went to watch Alex at karate. He did awesome! And Sierra was really getting into too. She was trying to mimic all of the kids doing karate moves. Meanwhile, Avery went with Aunt Jenna and Stacy to her soccer practice. Luckily for Avery, they were short one player so Avery was able to practice with Stacy and her team. She loved it! The rest of the day was spent playing, jumping in the trampoline and planting some flowers. We even got some dessert from the ice cream truck. Sunday morning we watched Alex and Stacy's soccer games before heading over to Travis' party. The girls had lots of fun playing with Travis, Kennedy and Caleigh and their dog, of course. It was a great weekend!
I have been trying, without success, for the past week to post our Easter pictures. So here they are.
