September 2014

Here are our pictures from September.

The first day of school at our new school, Sanders Corner.

Sierra, the first grader. Her favorite part of school after the first week: eating lunch in the cafeteria!

Avery, the third grader

This year, we live close enough that we are walkers. We are very excited!

Sierra was very excited!

There they go.

Sierra was a little nervous, but her big sister helped her out.

Sierra's big news...she can ride her bike without training wheels!! She is doing great and she is loving it. She loves to sing and sometimes makes up her own songs. One of the first days out riding her bike, she was singing, "Can't stop me now, now that I can ride my bike."  It was so cute! Although, I think Santa may have to bring her a bigger bike for Christmas. The princess one is a little small!

Sierra looking cute while picking out her outfit for school pictures (minus the hat)

Some pictures of Sierra out on the soccer field.

Being silly with Daddy at Subway in between soccer games, trying to find the score of the Penn State game (the picture was taken before we saw the score :( !)

August 2014

August was a little busy with moving, but here are a few fun pictures.

Our friend Lauren challenged the girls to do the ice bucket challenge.

Sierra had a hard time lifting the bucket, but with a little help she did it. She did not like it!

Avery did it too. She didn't mind it as much as Sierra but she said "That is freezing!"
 Avery's first soccer tournament.

It was at a high school in Maryland. yes, that is a high school. Unbelievable!

It's a little hard to see but there's Avery down on the sideline.

And that's her taking a turn in goal.

Here are some pictures in front of our new house!

July 2014

Here are some of our pictures from July.

4th of July at Gramma and Grampa"s

Sierra having some fun on the slide

Avery & Sierra in the pool

Sierra showing off her awesome birthday gift from Jack & Luke, a US soccer jersey and ball.

Getting creative at open studio at the Art Station

Avery getting ready for her first year of Girl Scout Sleepaway Camp

There she goes...she did great! Sierra and I not so much.

Sierra had a fun week at Art Camp. I had no idea what a great artist she is!

We found the Loudoun County Fair. It's not as big as The Spencer Fair but it was lots of fun!

Feeding some birds

A fun ride on a camel. We had never done that before!

The Cliff Hanger!! They had this at the Spencer Fair but Sierra was always too small to ride it. She loved it !!!

Avery trying the mechanical bull. She got thrown off and was not happy about it, which made Sierra refuse to try..

so daddy gave it a try and did pretty good!

Sitting along the Potomac River after a short hike at Bles Park

Getting our feet wet and looking for some cool shells and rocks.
