Our First Christmas in Virginia

For our first Christmas in Virginia, Nana and Grandpa came to visit. We were very busy cooking, doing our last-minute shopping and making our awesome gingerbread house! We had lots of fun getting ready! And then the big day arrived with lots of presents!

Nana and the girls with the best gingerbread house!

On Christmas Eve, the girls spread some reindeer food off the deck so Santa's reindeer could find us

Coming downstairs to see all of the presents from Santa, Mom & Dad, and Nana & Grandpa!

Not wasting any time to start tearing them open!

Christmas in Pennsylvania

We took a quick trip to Pennsylvania to see everyone there for Christmas. We were only there Saturday and Sunday so we could get back to Nana and Grandpa who were in town. It was a bit of a whirlwind but we got to see everyone there.

Posing with our friend Tula who was in town from Boston
Here's a bunch of family pictures at Gramma and Grampa's. Unfortunately, Uncle Paul couldn't make it, but I think we got pictures with everyone else!

We celebrated with the whole Saylor family at Great-Gramma and Great-Grampa's house on Saturday.

And Sunday morning was Christmas at Gramma and Grampa's house.

Coming down the stairs very excitedly!

Yeaaaah! Presents!!

Time to relax

Before Christmas

In the weeks leading up to Christmas we were very busy and having a lot of fun! We saw our first snowfall in Virginia. While it was not the same as Massachusetts snow, we had fun playing in it just the same.
Luckily, we had a few sleds to go around. Here we are with our friends Bella, Maddie, and Campbell

Avery sledding, or rather snowboarding!

Sierra's turn

The girls' school put on a Winter Wonderland. The girls got to play all sorts of games, win prizes, do some crafts, and go shopping in Santa's workshop for Cory and I (you should see the "diamonds" I got from them!)

The girls made some cute penguin ornaments

After the Winter Wonderland, we went out for sushi. Luckily, it wasn't busy so we got to sit at the sushi bar and watch them make it.

Sierra really liked the edamame

Back at home, we started working on our Christmas cookies. Here we are starting our sugar cookies.
