Bowling Fun!

The day after hurricane Sandy hit, we were still without power and it was still rainy and windy out. Although, the generator was a godsend!!!, we were all ready to get out of the house for a while, so we went bowling! We had a great time! We bowled one round and then we hit the arcade for some more fun and prizes!

The American Girl Doll Store

While Gramma & Grampa and Nana were here visiting, we went to The American Girl Doll Store near Boston. It was amazing to see the size of this store and all of the things available to buy for their dolls. The girls were in a dreamland seeing everything in person, as opposed to just staring at it in a catalog! The girls had lots of fun shopping and they even got their dolls' ears pierced! We even had dinner at The Cafe in the store, where Kit and Mackenna had their very own special seats at the head of the table. It was quite an experience!!!

Last Day of Soccer

Last weekend was the Girls' last soccer game of the season. It was lots of fun and they each got a medal at the end of their games!

Sierra's Halloween Party

 Sierra had a fun Halloween party at school. She decided at the last minute that she did not want to wear her "Mario" costume to school so we, quickly, had to put together her Snow White outfit, but she still looked adorable! Here she is at her party and on the hayride with Nana!

Pumpkin Picking

 Here are some pictures from our pumpkin picking this year. There were not a ton of pumpkins left but I think we found some good ones. And there are so many fun things to do at the pumpkin patch that it was such a fun day!

Fun Times!

I wanted to share some pictures of some fun and exciting things that we have been doing over the past week or so.  Enjoy!


Avery is officially riding a two-wheeler! We took the training wheels off of her bike and spent, maybe, two days with us holding the bike for balance.  And then she wanted to try it by herself and she did great! It only took one afternoon of riding up and down the driveway by herself and she had it! Now she LOVES riding her bike all the time. We have even taken a couple rides around the neighborhood!

Off she goes!



And now Sierra loves riding her bike all the time too!

 Our latest family project...painting tombstones for our outside Halloween decorations.  I know it sounds a little morbid but we have fun with Halloween!
