Avery wanted to take a picture, too. She loves taking pictures and she is really good at it.

We did an overnight stay at Coco Key, an indoor water park in Massachusetts. It was so much fun and we practically had the place to ourselves. Avery especially loved the fact that she was now tall enough to go down one of the water slides. She must have gone down it 50 times. I went down it once and was scared half to death because it was a tunnel that was pitch black and I was just flying down it. I can't believe Avery wasn't scared. She is such a little daredevil!

November 2010

Here are some of our pictures from some fun things we did in November.

We had a few flurries over night early in November. The girls were so excited to see snow when they woke up. As you can see there is not much snow but they insisted on wearing the complete snowsuit. And just so you understand how excited they were, these pictures were taken at about 7:30 AM and they have their pajamas on under their snowsuits.

The following are pictures from Avery's first experience with rock climbing. She was so excited that she told everyone at school that she was going. She was great at it although she did not get up very high. She became very good at rapelling back down, I think that was her favorite part.

She made it as high as the blue rock that is just above her in this picture

The week before Thanksgiving we went to State College to celebrate with The Hine Family (Gramma's Family). It was a great weekend. The girls had lots of fun playing with their cousins. And one of the highlights of the weekend for the girls was spending time with Edna (Aunt Sara's dog). Avery still talks about how much she loves Edna.

After we got home from PA, Nana and Grandpa came out for a visit for Thanksgiving and an early Christmas. We went down to New Jersey on Thanksgiving day to celebrate with The Heinz's (Nana's Family). The girls had more fun playing with more cousins. Then it was back to Massachusetts to kick off Christmas.

Halloween 2010

Here are some of our pictures from Halloween. Avery, of course, was Scooby-Doo and Sierra was Batgirl, although if you asked her she was Batman. The first pictures are from Avery's Halloween Party and Hayride and school and then there are some from Trick or Treating.

Here Comes The Bride

Okay, so I'm just slightly behind here. I wrote this entry back in October and for some reason it never got posted. And I am going to try to get everything updated to start the new year off right. Enjoy!
Last week we went to Pennsylvania for Aunt Jacey and Uncle Paul's Wedding. It was such a fun and busy week. Our first day back we went to Kranyak's, which is a store that has everything and they set up a really cool Christmas display. Then we went to a huge Halloween store that had all of the gory, disgusting decorations with mummies and skeletons popping out at us. Avery loved it, which is a little disturbing. The girls also had lots of fun playing with their girlfriends who live next door to Gramma and Grampa. Mckenna and Cassidy are 13 and 10 years old and they have a dog and two cats, so Avery and Sierra had a blast with them!

After that, it was time to get ready for the wedding. So we were busy with nail appointments, hair appointments and all of the last minute running around for the wedding.

And then it was the big day, Aunt Jacey & Uncle Paul's Wedding Day. Everyone looked beautiful and the weather was absolutely perfect. The girls were so good all day. Avery did a great job with all of the pictures, Sierra not so much. But they both did great walking down the aisle. Avery did awesome as expected. I was very nervous about Sierra, but she did great. She was a little confused at first as far as where she was supposed to go, (especially since her sister took off down the aisle without her), but once she saw Daddy down at the other end, she was fine. We also had to break tradition a little. Instead of the flower girl carrying a basket full of flower petals, we replaced them with miniature marshmallows (A little bribery never hurt anyone!).

Autumn Fun

Here are some pictures and updates from September. We started off with Avery's first day back to pre-school. She was so excited, she was counting the days to get back! She is now going 3 days a week instead of just two like last year and she loves it! Although she is now counting the days until she starts kindergarten. She actually informed one of her teachers last week that she just has 1 hayride and 2 school programs until she starts kindergarten. She's just a little excited about it.

A cute picture of Sierra as I was starting to get out all of the fall and winter clothes

Avery with her new dog (She won it out of one of those crane games, which I never let her play because you never win anything, but Avery saw this dog, literally, hanging over the edge so we went for it.)

I finally won the battle with Sierra over putting Pigtails in her hair. Of course, I had to get a picture. I have about 10 pictures just as cute as this one because she thought it was hysterical to try and run away from mommy as I was trying to get a picture.

For the last two weeks we have been decorating for Halloween. Halloween in the Saylor house is like Christmas anywhere else, there is not a room that does not have decorations in it. The girls love it! So last weekend, we went pumpkin picking. It was like being in a candy store with them. They didn't know which one to pick first. They wanted one of every size, shape, and color. So we came home with 8 pumpkins! And it would have been a lot more if they didn't have llamas there to distract the girls. So it was a fun morning there and then we had to decide where to put them all when we got home. Sierra just lined all of the "baby" ones up on one step. And Avery tried to carry the biggest, heaviest one all the way across the yard. So I would say our house is officially festive!
