A Beautiful Weekend in Massachusetts

It was like summer here in Massachusetts this weekend. We had so much fun playing outside! Avery loves to play Hopscotch, frisbee, tag, Simon Says, Red Light, Green Light and Hide and Seek. And Sierra loves to swing and watch Mommy, Daddy, and Avery run around. We had lots of "Lemonade Parties" at the picnic table and Avery had a couple of yummy ice cream cones with sprinkles. Hopefully, the warm weather is here to stay for a while!

Sierra is changing so much so fast. She has figured out how to pull herself up to stand which has increased the amount of trouble she gets into. She likes to pull books and videos off of the shelves. Of course, Avery is always on "Patrol", telling Mommy what Sierra is doing, "Mommy, come see what Sierra is doing now". Sierra is also expanding her culinary horizons. She is starting to eat more and more table food. She has tried bananas, eggs, peas, turkey, and carrots. She loves being able to feed herself but her technique still needs a little work. But she'll be eating pizza and steak before we know it.

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter weekend! Avery and Sierra's Gramma, Grampa and Aunt Jacey came to visit. We had a great time. Avery and Gramma made their Easter Bunny Cake with lots of jelly beans and sprinkles. We had an Easter Egg Hunt with our friends Gracie and Jack although we had to do it in the playroom since it was raining. But it was still lots of fun. We dyed easter eggs with our friends Tamala and Ben. And we all ate lots of Easter candy. Mommy even caught Sierra with a jelly bean in her mouth. She was not very happy when Mommy took it from her.

We Are Growing Up So Fast

Avery and Sierra are growing up so fast. Sierra finally got her first two teeth but she does not like showing them off yet so you have to look really close. And Avery is a little girl and not a baby anymore.

Spring is Finally Here

We are so excited that all the snow is finally gone and it is starting to warm up a little. We have had a couple of fun days playing outside. Sierra loves to swing but she is a little apprehensive about crawling in the grass. Avery, of course, loves being outside no matter what the weather or temperatue, but she has been excited to play with all of her outside toys that she hasn't been able to play with in a while. She loves playing ball and is also getting really good at pedaling her bikes.
